Could be, but I think the latest product like this on the HSS was that Cheetah Power Surge - I remember Jim Rome used to piimp 5 hour energy constantly.

I have never used one of these energy drinks or cocaine. Always wanted to try coke, so now I may have to give this shit a try. At least it's legal.

Can't believe there are morons who'd drink that. What's the point of having an FDA if you can put things on the market without FDA approval?

then Jay has no clue what a coke buzz is like. if it was the same as 5-hour energy, there would be a run on the supplies of Niacin because that's whats in 5-hour that gives you the flush. other than about as much caffeine as a large cup of coffee and artificial sweetener, there's nothing else in there besides vitamin B3.

I have tried it before, I felt no "boost" in energy. However... the stuff tasted like shit, kinda like a mix of chalk, rit dye, and kerosene. Priority #1 after drinking one of those things is finding something strong enough to get rid of the awful taste in your mouth.

the FDA covers drugs, hence the D. 5-hour is a food (it's basically coffee, sweetener, and a lot of Vit B3) which is outside of the FDA's universe.

5 hour didn't do a thing for me when I tried it. But I do drink 1 venti Starbucks coffee a day.

Same here! Here's the problem: THEY DRANK TOO MUCH! I have one , and I never had any problems. Whoever uses it should hold accountability to what happens to them.

I tried some of those drinks before and the strange taste, as well as the heartburn I get from them always made me think there was something not quite right about them

Avoid the lemon-flavored ones. I have a feeling they taste like how you described.
