Hard to believe the shameless tobacco companies and greedy TV networks who produced this.

I agree, but it's also a shame that when the same kid is sucking down hard on a joint, everyone thinks what a cool rebel he is and he's chillin. :leaf:

People are so angry at the evil corporations that lied and tricked everyone into smoking cigs, yet celebrate weed that's supplied primarily by a Mexican drug cartel that saws peoples heads off and commits mass murder on a whim.

The FLintstones wasn't a kids show when it first came on. It was shown in primetime, and targeted toward adults.

I don't know if you remember, but The Flintstones were the first animated show in prime time. Winston was their sponsor.

Back then Winston and many other tobacco companies advertised on tons of shows. :jj:

I was aware the Flinstones were on in primetime. I was 9 years old when the show first came on and I watched it every week. It's just so bizarre to see Hanna-Barbera create an animated cigarette commercial. It ran on Friday's between 8:30-9pm it's first three seasons.

I thought I had seen every one of the Flintstones episodes, but just last week my brother mentioned a movie that I never heard of called, "A Man Called Flintstone"....
