What a waste, torn ACL. Will never be the same.
Will he last four years in the league? He's only got three more to go now.
Can't they just use the extra bone in his foot?
Griffin's a cornball brother, he doesn't have that extra bone.
It's over, Johnny, it's over.
I can't believe Shannahan let him play. Everyone could see he was hurting.
He will be back as RG IV
Plus didn't this happen to Adrian Peterson last season and this season he almost broke the single season rushing record
Tebow is available. All is not lost.
RG is only a rookie and apparently has had injury trouble in the past. Once that cartilige goes, forget about it.
Relax, he can always fall back on his college degree....
See AP. Will come back stronger.
There are some people out there saying crap like, "well, RGIII probably lied to coach about how well he felt, etc."
That's what athletes do. They don't want to be out of the game. Remember when Troy Aikman got LIT UP concussed and the coaching staff hid his helmet? The guy tried to take the field without his helmet.
Part of a coach's job is to say "no" to players. Coach Shannahan failed his job in letting RGIII back on that field. Everyone could see how gimp RGIII was and we weren't seeing anything differently than coach.
Hopefully the surgery and recovery go well.
There are different degrees of the injury, if he has scar tissue from a previous injury, it's a lot worse.
Actually, he was Dean's List all four years at Baylor.
Or his tutor was
hes going to be fine ok..he said hes coming back next year for dessert goddamn it...hes coming back
no more negative rgiii posts guys
He'll be fine because he can actually throw the ball accurately (when he can plant).
He may not ever have 4.2 speed again.
Shanahan was absolutely wrong in letting him continue to play. RGIII was limping all over the field. #1 you are risking the future of the QB you have up like 3 complete drafts to get....and #2 you are actually hurting your teams chances to win by putting a QB out there that can't move.
If the Skins would have put in Cousins when it was 14-13....they might have won the game.
i agree they should of put cousins in when there was still a chance it was so obvious he was hurt the backup qb did a great job before why not use him again oh well im sure they can patch him up
I could understand if it was the Super Bowl. But a fucking wild card game!?
