Washing dishes is such an inconvenience... This is much more sanitary AND convenient...

Of course, I still consume my beloved soups from my Corningware Soup-bowl, using my custom soup-spoon

I have often considered going down this path. Glad to know I am not alone here.

nah. you cook in cast iron. to clean them you leave the heat on till whatever is left in them is charcoal then you scrape out the dust. totally sanitary and the pots cook better the more you clean them that way.

stop washing with soap. after you cook in them let them cool and scrape out the dust. then heat them up and put some oil in them and scrub the oil into them with a wad of paper towel. if there';s still stuck on stuff add some coarse salt to the oil and scrub with it (acts like sand paper). you dont have to rinse them clean. just wipe them down.

one day i'm gonna get so lazy that i clean mine with a propane torch.

that's just it. I've never used soap. I fry bacon in it all the time and everything. I end up with a film of food on the bottom that won't come out. Maybe I'll try your idea of heating it until everything burns to dust. Then let it cool and apply the oil.
