    From article on Philly.com:

It wasn't until relatively recently that Stern apologized for his behavior. Stern's Sirius satellite radio program produced a second installment of its "History of Howard Stern" series of specials, and DeBella was invited to offer his recollections.
"After that was over and done with, I come home one day and there's this message on my phone, and it's Howard," DeBella recalled. "And he says, 'You know what, I can't thank you enough for being part of this. I could have never done this. You are a bigger man than I could ever be and, looking back, I'm ashamed of what I've done.
"You are one of the strongest human beings I have ever encountered.'"

You know what? I give Howard credit for doing that. I always thought the funerals were great when Howard was the underdog. But I always felt the DeBella thing was over the top, and I felt bad for John DeBella. I think he's still on the radio - maybe Jersey 101.5.

Dibella is a radio guy - if Howard was fucking magnanimous he could hire him for 101 instead of hiring wack packers for lunch money. He's a greedy scumbag - always has been always will.

    as a doornail!

I think she even made out with Captain Janks on her dial-a-date........................so she basically died of shame.

I'm sure this apology will bring her back, though.

And I'm equally sure that Howard will send Mr. DeBella a nice apology check.

Howard can keep playing Mr. Nice Guy all he wants, but that doesn't excuse him for what he does on air. His attacks on the interns during Frankenstorm can't be undone.

But it could be shtick. Remember when Robin said she was playing a character?

I actually listen to DeBella during the week since my work vehicle doesn't have an Ipod jack. He's actually not that bad. He plays music, talks a lot about the stories behind the songs, and every now and then he'll have a stand up comedian on as a guest. Seems like yesterday that I was cutting High School to go to his funeral.
