Did you ever go searching for your presents?
And find them?
like my parents, I buy everything the day before Christmas.
I looked, but never really found them.
I took the watch out of the package under the tree and replaced it with the watch I had. I was wearing that thing around for two weeks before christmas.
Everything was cool until my mother decided to show her sister what she got me and found my old watch wrapped up.
yeah. when ii was 5 years old i searched my mom's closet and found her present to me. it was a long rocket/shuttle that vibrated. kinda cool. must have been second hand though 'cause it smelled a bit strange.
i played with it for a while and put it back. however, she must have changed mind about it 'cause i ended up getting a he-man for christmas instead.
i ate the all the cookies before santa arrived.
I used to take my mom to the store. Point to what I wanted. Watch her buy it. Watch her wrap it. And pretend I never had any clue about all this when I opened my presents on Christmas Eve/Day . . .
at my cousins Johnny's house, his mom put the presents in a locked closet. Johny took the hinges off the door, got in and opened his presents- and got his ass beat
I looked one year. My brother and I found the mother load. The crown jewel was a Nintendo Gameboy.
That Christmas morning, I opened all my gifts, but no Gameboy. I was happy with all my Ninja Turtles, but I was waiting for the Gameboy like you couldn't believe. When Christmas morning commenced, I, like Ralphie, put on my best face, but I was bummed as fuck. I figured maybe my folks had to return the Gameboy to pay bills or something and I couldn't say a word about it.
Eventually my dad called me in and said he couldn't find a Christmas ornament. It must have fallen into the tree. So I helped him look for it until there was a wrapped box the same size as a Gameboy box. He told me to open it and, after I did, he rubbed my head and said, "No more snooping!"
I have no idea how he knew, but he did. It was straight out of Christmas Story. Except, I didn't shoot my eye out. I played Tetris until dinner.
Never found the $40 check I would get beforehand, no.
My parents was the type of mom that would leave presents under the tree about two weeks before christmas. Mind you, this was waaay over the age I stopped believing in Santa. As for before that, I dont really remember. I dont remember finding any hidden presents.
You have two moms?
I found mine in my parents closet when I was about 10 and was all excited. Christmas morning though actually sucked because I already knew everything before opening it. Oh the horror.
Absolutely! Then my parents got wise and kept them at my grandma's house.
Lol That's what I get for not proofreading.
