    Me? Homebrew Oatmeal Stout.

    Just got out of the wood-shop after putting together my new kitchen cabinets, been drinking the whole time, it's raining out, can hear it hitting the skylight, and enjoying life.

    I'd made all but 6 (nailers) of the cuts and the 6 cuts remaining were miter saw cuts, so no bigs.

    The panels were cut using this honey:

    I'm at about 6.25% ABV with my stout.

    I'm not big on high-gravity brews. It's too much.

    Now, my wines, on the other hand? Shit, I made a 16% ABV blackberry wine that actually worked, though I'll be turning down the booze next time around.

    As good as it was, it was a bit much. People were getting too drunk, too fast and yakking in my backyard.

    I make this every year in September, bottle the 1st week of December, and begin drinking after Christmas and enjoy until March. It's definitely a sipping beer and I never have more than 1-2 in any one sitting. Problem is that the grain bill is so big that my mash tun volume limits me to make only 3 gallons at a time (15 lbs. in 3.5 gallons , 1.115 OG). When drinking, you really can't tell that it's such a high alcohol beer, smooth and tasty. Cheers!
