Be nice if he apologized to the long-time, loyal fans, for pissing on us.

These apologies ring as shallow as when guys like Perez Hilton all of a sudden decide that want to be mr nice guy......after getting rich off being a ballbusting a-hole.
Seriously, If I were one of those people that the evolved one came back to apologize to I would tell him to fuck off.
Then again I bet you Debella is far happier and content in life than Howard is
John DeBella's a Philly DJ who was #1 in Philly before Howard was syndicated there. When Howard's show became #1 in Philly, he threw a big "funeral" party for the "demise of DeBella" and was often pretty much just old Howard being old (young) Howard to DeBella for years afterward....Plus, yeah, there was the dial a date thing.

Growing up in that era in Philadelphia, that was amazingly funny how he tortured Debella. Debella was a complete arrogant douche. Howard wasn't the shithead he is now and was hungry to be and stay #1.
It got so bad for Debella he decided to move to afternoons so he wouldn't have to compete with Howard anymore. The first day Debella did his afternoon show, Howard went on in the afternoon head to head (possibly just in Philly market). I can't recall if it was a live show or a taped special but just remember how hysterical it was. That's the Howard who died and we all hope makes an appearance again some day.
One day he will apologize for doing the AGT gig and the efing scarves he wore mid July.
Nah ef it
he has plenty of piss to disburse on his fan base
I remember that as well. I'm pretty sure it was a taped show. I remember them playing some interview with DeBella and joking about it.

I think that's kinda cool actually. I mean, why not? That shows he's a man who can admit when going too far.
