I'm not jumping on a bandwagon on either side. The article left some questions unanswered. I followed up, got my answers and what...? Don't suppose you read all my posts, huh?
Just because I'm not automatically in your camp, calling for lynchings and firepower upgrades for the police doesn't mean that a) I don't recognize the seriousness of gang violence and b) am not simultaneously perplexed by the belief that arresting, charging, convicting and killing people does fucking anything to stop the situation from persisting.
Get it through your head. My question was: what will work? And merely bringing forth the question automatically makes me whatever was in your head about me beforehand.
Any type of dissent or merely just questioning popularly-held beliefs (true or not) is automatically perceived (fallaciously) as me, holding that position.
Know what that is? A strawman attack.
