I have never watched it despite the good reviews. I would probably like it since it is a bit of a hybrid lawyer/political show with the relationship stuff thrown in right?
It's light on the relationship; she basically tolerates him since they have kids. It's mostly about the law/procedural stuff and the politics is like 25% of it (basically, all of Alan Cummings stuff is the political part).
Archie Panjabi has/had a psycho for an ex-husband and she got into some pretty funny tussles with him:
That's pretty much spot on. The show is about Margulies' character, Alicia Florrick, whose husband (played by Chris Noth) is a philandering, cheating, scummy politician and he's exposed in the media for cheating on his wife.
She's a stay-at-home mom who has recently decided to revive her legal career. She's trying to keep her professional life separate from his shenanigan's, which is hard, because her mother-in-law is an uber cunt and her ex-husband's campaign manager is always up her ass for one thing or another.
Archie Panjabi is an investigator for Alicia's law firm, while Christine Baranski and Josh Charles are the law firm's senior partners.
Good writing, solid acting. It's just that title...
cool. i'll check it oot!

As I read these listening threads every day (well, 2-3 days a week) since I don't listen anymore, it seems like THSS really is in Happy Days mode. Howie is Henry Winkler, still trying to wear the leather jacket that's two sizes too small, but also now a high school teacher. And instead of being surrounded by ritchie and Ralph and Joanie and Chachi, he's got Ted McGinley and the chick who played Jenny Piccolo, and the other chick who was on Wings.
