Well sure, but how many state of the unions have you watched? Honestly?
ya, state of the unions are just more washington pomp & circumstance, just say what the masses want to hear, dont burp in the mike, & 24hrs after the dumbass talking heads get done dissecting it ad nauseum, its forgotton & no one holds you to that rhetoric..
just washington being washington...its kinda like awards season, doesnt really matter, all fluff, no stuff.
ya the potus gets a pass on the rhetoric & bs that makes up the state of the union.
facts are played fast & loose, that just the way it is...
The president claimed that "both parties have worked together to reduce the deficit by more than $2.5 trillion." But that's only an estimate of deficit reduction through fiscal year 2022, and it would be lower if the White House used a different starting point.
Obama touted the growth of 500,000 manufacturing jobs over the past three years, but there has been a net loss of 600,000 manufacturing jobs since he took office. The recent growth also has stalled since July 2012.
He claimed that "we have doubled the distance our cars will go on a gallon of gas." Actual mileage is improving, but Obama's "doubled" claim refers to a desired miles-per-gallon average for model year 2025.
Obama said the Affordable Care Act "is helping to slow the growth of health care costs." It may be helping, but the slower growth for health care spending began in 2009, before the law was enacted, and is due at least partly to the down economy.
As opposed to all Republicans crying about Obama 24/7 about things he hasn't even done or proposed yet?
it comes with the territory dude, at least he's got the media strokin his dik. the media & dem. vitriol aimed at the last dude was much worse...
i'm pretty sure obama can handle people crackin wise, its what we do.
i wont even bother to bring up obamas role in going all class warfare & dividing this nation to forward his agenda...he's played a pretty harmful hand that didn't need to be played & we will see the effects for some time to come.
