if it was a conservative comedian (of which there are none,) you would be impressed.
there are no conservative comedians because none of you "get" anything.
and please don't trot out Dennis Miller. he hasn't gotten a laugh since MNF.
“To be a conservative comic you’re going to poke fun at feminists and gays — politically incorrect stuff — but it is just too taboo these days,” comedian Nick Di Paolo told the Daily Caller. For the last few years the media has just gotten so politically correct, and I mean it’s not just the news. It is throughout the media. Just look at how white heterosexual men are portrayed as compared to women and minorities. And that is why I don’t think you are ever going to see a conservative comic as famous as Jon Stewart on the right. As Colin Quinn says, ‘it’s so big it’s not a conspiracy.’

White hetero men are portrayed as heros, leaders, rich, etc etc. Di Paolo is a typical right wing cry baby.
The reason there is no conservative Jon Stewart is that it is the right wing that is insane and more apt for ridicule.
but thats what retards do because retards are too retarded to realize their retarded bullshit
I'm not a fan of Rush or Jon Stewart. And I don't accept that Stewart is a liberal based on mocking Glenn Beck. Lots of people on the right do that as well. His big rally in DC was to "restore sanity"? I don't find that meaningful.
Conservative comedians - Adam Sandler, Colin Quinn, Nick DiPaolo, Adam Carolla, Vince Vaughn, Jim Norton... It's just conservatives aren't as rabid as liberals so they don't have to run around frothing at the mouth talking about whatever issue is making them neurotic that day. (There are also some very popular southern conservative comedians that I'm too embarrassed of to name)
There are more liberal comics and actors than conservative ones clearly, but I think that has more to do with conservative skill sets being more tuned toward reality, hard work, practicality and pragmatism. Liberalism has more to do with being bitter and tripping on acid and coming up with crazy ideas, some of which turn out to be humorous. Generally, comedians are tortured, miserable people and polling shows conservatives tend to be happier (as well as more organized) than liberals.
BTW, Stewart has himself said that he is a "socialist." I wouldn't mind him as much if he didn't pretend to be a non-partisan moderate when the show tilts farther left than a car Michael Moore is driving.
I wouldn't wear either label. Wasn't Mark Twain a socialist? Anyways, I think many self-identified "liberals" who embrace a hedonistic lifestyle are confusing liberal with libertine. Stewart may be a socialist but I haven't seen any evidence that his show is a platform for those views. Maybe you could be more specific. Likewise conservative is a vague term, there are lots of anti-intellectual, rural, reactionary types who identify as "conservatives".
