don't remember that one, but I have nightmarish memories of the haunted mansion in long branch, which burned down on the pier.
I went there when I was about 7 years old and had what was easily the most terrifying experience of my young life. At the end of the 'tour' you had to walk over a bridge to exit...and all these fake rat tails would wrap around your ankles as you ran out the door. I had nightmares for weeks
I went to Action Park a few times, great place. I can't watch those videos now, but I hope they mention the water slide with a loop. It was usually shut down, and I've read a lot of people got injured on it. I'm proud to say I was able to ride it one visit and came out unscathed. That place was great, if you don't mind it being dark.
Man, I love those 80's action park commercials. I had a few friends that came back from AP and they looked like they crashed on a Harley doing 90 mph, scared the shit out of me, I decided not to go.
The Alpine slide did a lot of damage, there were big signs telling people to slow down going into the corners(which were usually ignored) and 3 or 4 times a day the EMT's would have cart some poor schmuck off the Mountain.
omg i vaguely remember going there one time with my family, i must had been around 6 - 7 years old but mom didn't allow me to get on any of those water rides.
Me and my twin sister were upset while our other sister's were having fun if i remember correctly nana bought us ice cream that made us feel better
Having grown up in Central Jersey, I have been to all these cool places numerous times. The haunted house in Long Branch scared the ever living shit out of me when I was a wee lad.
The skydiving simulator at Action Park was an all time favorite, but I could never get the hang of it.
