I feel relieved after reading this thread. I feel just like the OP and the rest of the posters. I am not a cruel person. I was glad to hear that Robin's cancer is in remission (even though she uses the word cured) and saddened to hear that she had cancer in the first place. But come on, the discussion lacked warmth and humanity. It was all praising Robin's perfect health and diet and extraordinary fortitude. She made passing remarks about fear and then it went right back to how great everything was. I know Howard and Robin hate on Oprah, but one thing they could learn from O is how to be vulnerable. That's what made so many women fall in love with O. She managed to come across as real, less than perfect.
