Retired Marine Viciously Beaten While Defending Teen From Bullies
No good deed goes unpunished, so the saying goes, and retired U.S. Marine Capt. Wen Jones could attest to the adage. Capt. Jones was viciously attacked when he stepped in to defend a 14-year-old he saw being bullied by three males.
Now, three months after the incident, authorities say the attackers have been arrested. But on Monday's Fox and Friends, Jones told the crew that he would do it all over again for one reason.
"A lot of the messages [I've received] talk about how people have used this to have a teaching moment [...] and I'd love for that to be the message that comes out of this. You can stand up to bullies; it's ok to do the right thing, and we've got to be partnered together to do that."
