"Robin, the problem with Howard TV is that it is too successful. We have so many subscribers that In Demand cannot handle the bandwidth. We are going to end it in three months and try to find a provider who can handle the millions of subscribers we have."
I would love to be a fly on the wall and see the contract and subscriber numbers for that shit TV service. Somebody's got to know how many subscribers for htv an dalso who listen to Sirius. Sirius I totally understand howard is an after thought, but they got to be kidding me that with the 50 million or even 20 mil they pay Howard each year they can't get 20X better talent and content.
Do any of these Hollywood types do their research on how many people listen or keep track of Howard. I would think, here at Dawg Saloon is probably his core past fan base, but we all can't stand him anymore.
How can you have a pay TV channel about a radio show that is only live twice a week?
Easy: the show is so bad, Howard is such a hipocryte and fucks up so much that he needs to have 24/7 propaganda & damage control running. Howard needs Howard tv to keep glitches out of his matrix... Otherwise the remaining listeners stop feeding his greed machine
I'd say no one under 35 cares or even knows who the old queen is...
You are right, most people my age just listened to Preston and Steve in Philly after he left terrestrial. I was just talking to a 23 year old stripper who had no idea who Howard was. Strippers used to beg to get on the Stern show 10 years ago.
Would not surprise me, with all the mentions of iTunes lately, if he's moving it there. Why charge one price for all the shows you can watch, when you can charge them for each individual show? More marbles!
