It was funny the other night when Artie said, "you would be great at coaching football." Translation: "You suck at radio/tv".
Yeah, I caught that.
And the one time he did coach...................his old high school team, I think.......................they had their worst season ever.
The best thing I can say about Ritchie is he's a zero, but at least he's not a minus like Stover or Mannix or Nicky D .
And yeah, him between Artie and another comedian is brutal.........................like a big, dumb deer in the headlights, mixed with a ping-pong/tennis volley vibe.
Why's he gotta be in the middle?!? That just centerpieces the awkwardness. Kick him to the left and slap the guest in the middle.
He should have two modes: "talking football" and "complete silence and off-camera". Have him on during football season, and only in the first hour to talk football, but get him out of there when anything else is going down.
That Playboy chili chick has way more smarts and personality than Ritchie. Hustle her in there!
"He's so out of touch and delusional that he doesn't realize his entire life is built around extravaganza." - Benjamen
On Friday they had Alaa sit in Shane's seat after his interview to chime in during the Combat Jack interview. I think this would work for Ritchie as well during interviews where he doesn't contribute much like those with comedians and actors. For the rest of the show he can sit back next to Artie.
