It was essentially a low-rent version of Charlie Rose doing Tom Snyder but in a car. Rickles gave nothing we didn't already know about, nor did he really bury Jerry like he should/could have.
I thought the Ricky Gervais episode was really funny and I enjoyed the extended episode (2 parter?) with Mel Brooks & Carl Reiner. Reiner & Brooks have dinner together every other night, eat their dinners on tv trays and watch movies together.
I didn't even know Mel Brooks was gay.
I'm hoping Jerry's doing this just to humiliate Howard. Revenge for all the hours of radio time Howard's filled by replaying bits from 20 years ago: Shoshanna Lonstein song parodies, Gilbert bombing his answering machine, etc. I can guarantee Howard's going into this knowing he doesn't stand a chance if he tries to do anything other than his complaining schtick.
