people generally don't carry around guns up here but they drive like maniacs
Ha ha ha, yeah. I've driven up there and pretty much stay in the right lane around the cities and stay the fuck out of the way. Boston has to be the angriest white-male city I've ever been to. Just walking around on the streets you can feel the anger from some of them. I went to a game at Fenway (best MLB game I've ever seen in the finest MLB park out there, IMO) where the Sox won in the bottom of the ninth on a grand slam. Everyone was happy, chanting, etc.
I go to the T to catch a train going west IIRC which was pretty much empty. The other side of the platform had a ton of people, particularly men who were uproarious from the victory. Before my train arrived there was one actual fists-a-flyin' fight and several verbal altercations on that side of the platform.
Although the blacks in Atlanta love to fight one another, too. Be funny if we could get the two groups together for fun sometime. Bring a bunch of Southies to Turner and put them on MARTA after an interleague game between the Braves and Sox. I'd pay to see that shit. . . . behind a line of riot police.
