It's likely a few more people recognize him but aren't compelled to say anything. I can't imagine I'd make a point to speak to him if I saw him on the street. Not that I have anything against the guy, I just wouldn't feel it was important. Maybe Sal or Richard, with the hope they'd say something honest about the show.
I never agreed with his politics, but you have to admit that Depace keeps it real.
In the NSAL era of the Stern show, was there anything funnier than Depace openly talking about kicking his dog?
I don't even know if I like depace himself, but I think he's good on the radio. He got boring when they focused on him too often with the politics a couple years, but in small spurts, I find him good on the air because he stands his ground and offers up some real opinions. Everybody else feels like they are just there to feed and agree with Howard's delusions.
The fact that he told on baa baa bad breath for sleeping and fucks with him every chance he gets makes me like the dude.
You'll like him even more then when you listen to him ask Howard about wearing a wig because all the e! Guys think he did something with his hair. Scott comes in after Howard's nose job revelation in the early Sirius days.
I don't care much for his politics, but I actually liked hearing him argue them. I also like that he was usually a good sport when they would have him come in the studio. Usually liked bits that involved him.
Some lose all mind and become soul: insane. Some lose all soul and become mind: intellectual. Some lose both and become: accepted - Charles Bukowski
Never heard of him till I got Sirius. Saw most of the E! shows.
“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it." ~Frederic Bastiat
his videocaddy pimping dog kicking cigar chomping rush limbaugh spewing personna is awesome. he knows he is the villian of the show and relishes the role. he takes every opportunity to try to humiliate arrogant monkey and disgusting pig kaplan.
Unless Howard has some video to sell what does he need any of those Howard TV guys? They're all bye bye.
I like that DePace doesn't back down and take all the shit they throw at him. On that note, I also like that Lisa G doesn't bend to that "not a team player" mantra. Which confuses me because if she's smart enough to see how cheap Howard is and won't donate her time for free why hasn't she moved on like Langford?
