Whether you’re a fan of 1980s and 1990s syndicated television or just can’t wait to see what old property Hollywood will decide to reboot next, the fact that a “Baywatch” movie is on the horizon is something that surely caught your attention recently. Though little about the project is known beyond the fact that it exists, one thing is for sure – David Hasselhoff is probably already camped out somewhere trying to get a role in this big budget feature adaptation of the show that made him famous. This news got us wondering – what have some of the old “Baywatch” cast members been up to over the last twenty years? How many of them continued to act and how many have fallen away? Some of them – like the Hoff – have maintained a public spotlight almost constantly since then. Others, however, seem to have disappeared. A select few have managed to take a bit part on “Baywatch” that they probably filmed in an afternoon and turn it into the type of hugely successful film and television career that legends are made of – we’re looking in your direction, Jason Momoa! Are you wondering what the old “Baywatch” stars look like now? The answers may be surprising to say the least! CAROLINE HOLDEN - YASMINE BLEETH Next Yasmine Bleeth hasn’t maintained the career that many of her co-stars have since the end of “Baywatch,” but she does have a number of hugely fun movies to her name. She famously starred as Jenna Reed in “BASEketball” with Trey Parker and Matt Stone in the 1990s. Unfortunately, things haven’t always been great for Bleeth in the years since “Baywatch” went off the air. She was famously arrested for drugs in the mid-2000s, though she has long since maintained that she has luckily remained clean and sober since that time. HOBIE BUCHANNON - JEREMY JACKSON Next Jeremy Jackson has continued to act on television since the end of “Baywatch,” most notably starring in the TV series DTLA as “Kevin” in 2012. SUMMER QUINN - NICOLE EGGERT Next Nicole Eggert has been in a number of TV movies over the last decade, including in films like “Where’s the Love,” “Heartbreakers,” “Holiday Switch” and others. DONNA MARCO - DONNA D'ERRICO Next SOURCE Donna D’Errico has continued to act in numerous films and television shows since “Baywatch” ended and was also the Playboy Playmate of the Month in September 1995. Unfortunately, the sun hasn’t always shined brightly on D’Errico in the years since – she famously filed for bankruptcy at one point, but seems to have recovered. LANI MCKENZIIE - CARMEN ELECTRA Next Carmen Electra has continued to make various television appearances and pops up in the occasional film since the end of “Baywatch,” but she’s mainly a celebrity who is famous for being famous these days. Not that she seems to have any type of problem with this, at least as far as her public persona is concerned. She also happens to be another “Baywatch” cast member that has turned towards charity since her days at the beach were over. She has supported a number of important causes over the years including the HollyRodFoundation, which is dedicated to supporting people suffering from Parkinson’s disease. She also lends a helping hand to “Head to Hollywood,” which is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people who have survived brain tumors. TREVOR COLE - PETER PHELPS Next Peter Phelps, curiously, is another “Baywatch” alumni who went into advertising not long after the show ended. What is it about working with David Hasselhoff that immediately sends you into the world of “Mad Men” as soon as you’re done?! CODY MADISON - DAVID CHOKACHI Next David Chokachi has continued to have a nice little acting career for himself after “Baywatch” ended. Though he has not achieved that level of success again, he continues to work in a number of roles like “Witchblade” and “Beyond the Break.” JESSIE OWENS - BROOKE BURNS Next Brooke Burns has definitely continued her acting career since “Baywatch” ended, but she has really been unable to maintain that level of success in any appreciable way again. In 2005, she was the victim of a horrible diving accident that actually resulted in a broken neck. Luckily, she was able to make a full recovery. However, she still has a plate, a rod and screws in her neck that will be there for the rest of her life. MITCH BUCHANNON - DAVID HASSELHOFF Next David Hasselhoff has managed to keep himself in the public eye since the end of “Baywatch” – one way or the other. After appearing on the TV reboot of “Knight Rider” that was canceled after one season, he also made appearances in the “Spongebob Squarepants” movie, among other things. He also had a pretty highly publicized incident with a video camera and a cheeseburger a few years ago, but that is one that he would probably prefer if people wouldn’t bring up. Many people also don’t realize that Hasselhoff has a kind of incredible music career under his belt – just not one that you would know about if you live in the United States. All throughout the 1990s and early 2000s he released a number of records in Europe, one of which went triple platinum. He’s particularly famous for his music in Germany, for some strange reason. It’s like Norm Macdonald always used to say on “Saturday Night Live” – Germans LOVE David Hasselhoff! APRIL GIMINISKI - KELLY PACKARD Next Kelly Packard has actually had quite the nice career in independent cinema since “Baywatch” went off the air. In addition to starring in films like “My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend,” she has also been in a number of great movies like “Auto Focus” opposite Greg Kinnear and Willem Dafoe. JORDAN TATE - TRACI BINGHAM Next Traci Bingham has continued to act since her “Baywatch” days (and nights!) ended. Perhaps the most interesting thing she’s done since the show went off the air was star in a season of the surprisingly sweet and sentimental “The Surreal Life,” which was a reality television show that is kind of like “The Real World”, only the house is filled with celebrities you kind of remember from various things. J.D. - MICHAEL BERGIN Next One of the most interesting things about Michael Bergin ISN’T that he was on “Baywatch,” but that many believe he is the first male supermodel to ever exist. He achieved a level of success that practically rivaled other famous names like Cindy Crawford, just to name one notable example. Since the end of “Baywatch” and his modeling career, he has actually maintained quite an interesting career as a philanthropist. He has not only been involved in a large number of AIDS-related charities, but has also worked with the DARE children’s program and more. MATT BRODY - DAVID CHARVET Next David Charvet is another “Baywatch” alumn who had an entirely separate (and incredibly lucrative) career away from acting before, during and after he starred on the silver screen alongside David Hasselhoff. The reason you probably didn’t know about it is because it all took place in his native France. Not only is he an actor, but he’s also a singer and a model. He has continued his singing career to this day and still acts as a television personality. He’s released a number of hit records in the last few years alone!
