So lease was up in old car, got new one. Sirus XM whatever they are said this is an XM radio so if I want Howard its $17.99 month. I asked him if it gets prorated when he is off for AGT, etc. he paused and said no. So I said no thanks. I can follow here what happens - its not like I'm missing anything. So I guess they have Sirius rails and XM radios? What kind of merge is that? Oh well.

The merger will do wonders for our fans, Robin. I'm all for it and it's not like I have any kind of bonus due to me if the companies merge so it's totally cool that I talk about it every day.

Don't worry they will offer you some bullshit deal for $25 for 6 months eventually. By then you won't want it, plus since it's XM they will still try to fuck you to listen to the wig.

Sirius is switching over to XM satellites. Thats why all the Sirius hardware are not sold (actively).
One of the big reasons is Howard's insane "subscriber" clause.

When they offered SiriusXM for free to test over the internet: they could not include Howard 100/101. Every free subscriber would be count as a bonus subscriber.

Howard have actively fucked the company in the ass. Only reason why Howard got a second contract was because of his tribe friend Mel. They always are looking after each other :oy2:

You do understand that customers are paying for the satellite radio service and not just Stern, right?

Ours expired just today for the truck, so I called this morning to see if I could get a good price to keep it, but the guy I got was not willing to give any kind of deal. After I declined his ridiculous offer of $14.99/mo, he asked if he could be of any further assistance. I said " You have been of no assistance - you lost an 8 year customer."

Haven't turned on my Sirius radio in 2 week and I spend 8 to 10 hours a day driving as I drive for a living. There are so many great podcasts out there that are free it's amazing. Even listening to 8 hours a day of podcasts I can't keep up with what I'm subscribed to. I will turn it on tomorrow to listen to the last Jay Thomas Friday am show.

I called to cancel last Saturday and they gave me the 5 months for $30 deal and gave me a new radio because I told them my old one didn't work. I wouldn't have done it just for stern, but I listen to the music and NFL.
