that's really not that pricey, especially when you pay $45 for a steak

lobster is far from rare, restaurants just want you to think it is--a well crafted burger with quality beef cooked well is well worth 17 bucks, you can pay 7 or 8 at Five Guys --another 10 and you get truffle, is a bargain

Last night i proclaimed it the best burger i ever ate.

that was 2 bottles of wine in, though. so not sure if it's true.

We shared 3 appys, they were all outstanding, but the ravioli was the star.

ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS- sautéed shallots & fiorucci prosciutto di parma, truffle cream sauce, parmesan cheese

PEI MUSSELS- horseradish dijon mustard cream sauce, grilled french baguette garlic wedge

CHESNUT RAVIOLI- roasted chestnut & mascarpone raviolis, holland leek fondue, wild mushroom confit, fried leeks

it was the cheapest thing on the menu. i was on the fence about ordering a burger in this particular restaurant because there were other more interesting choices.

but i was happy with the burger. :dontknow:

on Madison Ave you can get a burger for about $17. $27 if you want a bun also. $30 if you want lettuce, tomato, and pickles added. plus tip

nobody eats fries anymore unless they are sweet potato fries.

i'm not saying i'm an aficionado; i'm saying i get ripped off worse for inferior burgers because I'm on the other side of the river.

Exactly. They have 50 and 100 dollar burgers. The majority of diners in NY charge you 12 bucks for a bacon cheese burger deluxe.
