Even the shitty music was better back then.
I remember the first time I heard Nirvana on a "classic rock" station about 10-15 years ago. I knew I was old.
Titanic The Lost World: Jurassic Park Men in Black Tomorrow Never Dies Air Force One As Good as It Gets Liar Liar My Best Friend's Wedding The Fifth Element The Full Monty Batman & Robin The Rainmaker Popular movies in 97, where is private parts?
Private Parts was just a bleep on the radar... Men In Black was my Favorite movie that year. I also noticed no highlights of SNL during this montage- It was a actually a great year with Ferrel, Oteri, Molly Shannon, etc....
Titanic - Crap The Lost World: Jurassic Park - Didn't watch Men in Black - Crap Tomorrow Never Dies - Didn't watch Air Force One - Crap As Good as It Gets - Excellent Liar Liar - Okay My Best Friend's Wedding - Crap The Fifth Element - Good The Full Monty - Weird. British. Batman & Robin - Didn't watch The Rainmaker - Didn't watch LA Confidential needs to be on that list. It is excellent.
I think I read somewhere that Private Parts didn't even do that great but everyone thinks it did because of how Stern promoted it. I could be totally wrong though.
