Does anybody find these years hard to listen to for replay value? Not like their are many moments to go back to. I use to love to listen to previous years....

The end of the show was just before Artie left.

I used to save MP3's of some of the shows I enjoyed. I have quite a collection on a hard drive. Only 1 show since Artie left...........the Tiger Woods whore contest.

Ha, sweet memories of a former show that kicked ass.

I used to defend Stern to people who didn't listen to him. Now,I don't even admit I sometimes listen.

Most stern listeners bailed before 2010... So very few have an idea of how unlistenable the newer shows are....

I miss Artie. Since 2010 there are CONSTANTLY gaps during the show (3-5 second silences) where you can just sense that if Artie were there he'd throw a comment in. Those are the most painful moments for me. Now Stern is half-assed, Artie talks sports with Nick Dipoolow, and everyone loses. Thank God I can listen to the early Sirius shows for some consolation.

The problem with Artie was that he didn't know when to shut up towards the end during his Herione induced days. When he was sober, he was great. The problem was that he started talking over guests and ramble on and on. That was when the show went down hill.

Even though the show decline around the time Artie left, I think it was still listenable after that, but it wasn't until the stupid Jimmy Kimmel parties when the show became annoying. That is when Howard started to become a shameless name dropper, go on about $5k toilets, constantly repeat the same stories about his beautiful person life style, etc. Howard turned into a pompous bore after that started. Who really cares about him hanging with a bunch of B and C list celebrities like Dax Sheppard, Kristen Bell (I would care if she got naked in the stories), Courtney Cox, John Stamos, Christa Miller, Bill Lawrence, etc. The only celebrity worth mentioning at the party was George Clooney and Howard ruins any story he is in by constantly reminding us that Clooney invited him to his villa in Italy.

But even then, the show wasn't nearly as bad since Howard started to go to AGT tapings.

I'm actually stuggling with even listening to any Shuffle stuff, I think my contempt for AGT "Howchie Light" is making me bitter and petty. I changed a Shuffle the other day, put it on 7 on 70's and listened to "Afternoon Delight" from beginning to end and didn't really feel all that bad.
