Pet Humanitarian of the Year, NBC's Jill Rappaport!...What does Beth have to do to win this darn thing? Was she even a finalist? Was there ANY finalists? Enquiring minds want to know...

And to add insult to injury, the award ceremony is tomorrow in The Hamptons (Water Mill)--will Beth-O attend or sit home and stew in a mix of jealously and bitterness?

Beth's going to have to bring her A Game next year in order to wrest the crown from Ms. Rappaport--I sense mucho material over the upcoming "Animal Humanitarian Season"...they DO have a season, don't they?

Beth heard this news and went all Hulk and ripped down 3 chandeliers. She thought she was a shoe in for the win.

Looks like Jill writes books too - according to the article "Jill Rappaport is also the bestselling author of "People We Know, Horses they Love".

This is obviously the "devastating news" Howard was referring to.

Gee, what a revolutionary concept - actually feature the ANIMALS instead of making it all about you. That's quite an impressive list of awards Jill has won, looks like the real animal welfare groups know who's doing good work and what their motivation is. Howard's going to have to shell out some cash and buy an award for Beth to make her happy.

The difference is that Beffie is using Animoes to make herself famous. The other broad probably generally likes animals and really cares for them.

Yep, That's why Beth was crying outside of the Fox studios the other day. She'd just been told she didn't win and called Howard to complain..."You told me that you had arranged it for me to win!"

We got a glimpse of Beth's true motivation a few years ago when she called the show to publicize the search for a lost bulldog. After the dog was found by the "Rescue Ink" guys, Howard complained that Beth didn't get enough credit in the media for her role in finding the dog.

It's time to 'adopt' more animals.
