Rush- Should get in on the first ballot, their longevity, record sales, and musicianship guarantee it. The voters will give them the nod for being snubbed so long. Public Enemy- Guaranteed first ballot, critics darling and Chuck D is one of the greatest voices in rap history. They deserve it...so waht if it's not rock n roll. Albert King- 20% chance, he should have been nominated years ago. Monster playes that has influenced everyone that matters. Chic- 0% chance of getting in, not sure any perceived "disco" band will ever get in...except for the Bee Gees. Deep Purple- They'll get in, but it will take awhile. Criminally underrated pioneers of hard rock/ metal. Heart- A slight chance, but it will take awhile. Cheesy '80's/ '90's hair metal ballad phase under cuts their chances. May get a few votes cuz they're chicks that rawk. 15% chance Kraftwerk- 0% chance, if the vote was exclusive to European voters they'd get it. It's not, so they won't. Hugely influential though. Meters- Not likely, not enough of an impact or record sales. )% chance. Paul Butterfield Blues Band- Not a chance, great band but not enough record sales or impact. 0 % chance Randy Newman- He's got a shot, voters may look at his long career of song writing. But writing for Disney movies will hurt his chances. 10% chance.
