So what's the total over/under for goals scored today?
I'm a bad Pittsburgher, what happened to Crosby and Malkin?
Both got injured this past week.
and f hockey players
i kidding, i kidding
this game sucks tho
Yeah All Star games are just lazy practices today. Actually baseball is not bad anymore. They put some effort into the play now.
OK maybe the Over/Under should be around 25.5 I thought a liiiiittle effort would be put in today to get the game back into a action watch for the fans. They haven't played a good game since 2008. Can't blame the players though.
Anyone remember the '96 game in Boston? The final score was 5-4, with Captain Ray Bourque scoring the winner with less than a minute to play. Bourque won the MVP. Best game in years.
Ice Capades in town so Cindy Crosby had a prior commitment.
I remember watching. Great game. The late 90's and early 2000's had some really good games. Since 2007 when coaches and owners didn't want their high priced players getting hurt, the game has just been a light skate around and shoot practice.
One period in and not even one light check or tie up. Oh well
But even before that '96 game, there were some doozies. From '89-'94, they had final scores of 9-5, 12-7, 11-5, 10-6, & 16-6. Even then they didn't play much defense.
I'm from pgh but I actually laughed out loud at this one
Yeah All Star games always are high scoring no matter what sport, but back then they at least played a little defense even if they were just a little high scoring will all the talent. Today they are told not too even touch eachother. Can't say I disagree but the fun of the game is gone in a way. Fun to see the talent, but the fans want to see a game I think.
Also no one hates anyone on the ice like they did years ago.
Pussies. Crosby's been to ONE all star game in the nine or ten seasons he's been in the league.
It's been great having the event here in Columbus.
There's no half-time in hockey. Who are these dickholes?
He's too brittle. They don't want him playing and getting hurt in a non event.
