    2016 NFL Draft
    Round 1 - Thursday April 28th 8 pm
    Round 2 & 3 - Friday April 29th 7 pm
    Rounds 4-7 - Saturday April 30th noon

[IMG] B. Rob's predict the pick mock: [IMG]

Carson Wentz or Jared Goff? Who falls, who gets over drafted?
Which QB is taken first and how many go in round 1?

In 2010, the Broncos selected Tim Tebow with the 25th overall pick - a selection no one expected. I think that this year, with the 31st overall pick, the Broncos will select Connor Cook. Connor is widely viewed as the 4th-5th best QB available and a day 2 selection.

Ne1 make any mocks or have a guy they hope their team targets? Here are the mocks I put together for the Dolphins (@ http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/),
along with the strategy I hope they take.
Really rough schedule this season, so they better fill some holes.

    Miami Dolphins Mock Drafts

    Strategy
round 1 : best available CB
    round 2: best available OL
rounds 3 - 6: RB, LB, or EDGE

    best possible scenario:

last case scenario : 1 and 2 CB drafts

I can not believe what the Rams gave up for this unproven QB. Insane.

I'd be willing to blow a dude to get Elliott to fall to 14.

The fact that no one knows which QB they are taking makes it even worse.

If you are going to trade the farm for a QB, shouldn't it be obvious who they are going to select? At least when the Redskins went up for RG3, it was obvious they were doing it for RG3.

I could be wrong, but I think it might go as one of the biggest draft deal mistakes in NFL history. They gave up so much.

    :snicker:

"Proud of your Boy" is a goof on The Gavin McInnes show. He considers it the faggiest song of all time.
Anyone that calls into the show says "Proud of your boy" at the beginning or end of the call. It is pretty much Gavin's version of "Hey Now".

I don't think Jeff Fisher is well suited for what the NFL has evolved into. He hasn't changed his ways in 20 years. I think he is hanging on by a thread and this was a desperation move.

If he has a #1 overall QB, it buys him and the GM some more time.

Jeff Fisher and GM famously wrote in the draft/ locker room "BUILD FOR THE FUTURE WITH WASHINGTON'S PICKS!" after they made the trade.

I wonder if Tennessee will be doing something similar.

Betting the farm on a qb when there are only 8 good ones in the whole league is just silly.

Tennessee is sitting pretty. I would not be surprised if they traded back up into the top 10 picks to grab an OT. Maybe Ronnie Stanley or Tunsil if he falls.

Especially in a year where the QB forecast is foggy as hell. No one has a good idea which of the QBs will succeed. There is no Jameis Winston, Bortles, or Mariota this year.
Last year, the mock drafts didn't even have Carson Wentz in the top 2 rounds.

Any of the teams that needed QBs, especially LA Rams, would have been better off just staying put and over drafting if need be. Take Connor Cook or Paxton Lynch #15 overall. Or even trade back a few spots and take Connor Cook and Dak Prescott later in the draft.

You would be better off grabbing two QBs (1 in the first 2 rounds, 1 later in the draft) and just finding out what you have when the season rolls around.

If LA misses on their QB, they are so fucked. Not only are they fucked, but the coach and GM that comes in next year is going to be off to a really bad start. And Todd Gurley is going to get sick of sticking around carrying the rock 40 times a game ( see: Ricky Williams retirement/Dave Wanndstedt). They will be lucky if he wants to re-sign there after his rookie deal.
