    :D How funny. Turns out I did feel it, but it wasn't quite enough to wake me up. I honestly thought I had dreamt it last night. Looking now, I see the epicenter was near Culver City - only about 10 miles away.

    The small ones like that often have a very low frequency rumbling sound that accompanies them as they begin. It's kind of an eerie noise and is usually what wakes you before you actually feel any movement.
