Police were forced to use a Taser on 33-year-old David Allen Canterbury during the Dec. 14 incident after he kept swinging the toy weapons at them as they tried to arrest him. He even managed to deflect a wire from the Taser away with the fictional weapon from the "Star Wars" films. Canterbury told Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Walker that he was seeking mental health treatment as he pleaded no contest to fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest charges on Monday. Walker -- who dismissed charges of interfering with a police officer, theft and disorderly conduct -- also sentenced Canterbury to two years probation and ordered him to undergo a mental-health evaluation. Canterbury has been banned from Toys R Us stores.
