We lost the greatest drummer of all time.
Keith Moon died 37 years ago earlier this month.
I am mourning this less than I am the 717 trampled Muslims.
he died doing what he loved... choking on vomit
studio recording dude said bonzo was the loudest thats ever played in his studio and all the greats recorded there
they don't know who's vomit it was. the technology....
I mean, you cant dust for vomit
What makes somebody a great drummer?
RIP to the best of the best
I used to drum in a Zep tribute band. Yeah it's goofy, but it was really fun. Anyway, a great drummer is only really great to other drummers. To most people it sounds like grandma falling down the stairs I've found.
Ha! I knew someone would say this and it only took one post.
The greatest indeed. People can argue for decades about who's the best band, best guitarist, vocalist, bassist, etc. But when it comes to drummers, there is no debate. None!
you mean 'more'?
I'm afraid there is no such thing as too darn loud.
Ah! Thanks. I've been asking this question for years and you are the first person to give me a coherent answer.
Go listen to "fool in the rain". You'll see
Just because it is amusing:
One of the greatest "rock" drummers.
He is entertaining. Ginger is also the most overrated drummer who ever played. He is/was sloppy and boring. IMO
I was going to wait until the 3rd post, but I figured it was good to get out of the way sooner.
