    I know this might not be the right place to ask this question, BUT:
    My wife bought a 4.68 lb pork loin. What's the best way to cook it?

    Big ziploc bag.....olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano....some crappy white wine if you have it.

    Take a knife and stab the loin all over....maybe 20 times in different spots about an inch deep. Toss everything in the bag and put in the fridge for a few hours.

    When you're ready to cook, take it all out and put in a baking dish. Start at 400 for about 45 minutes then lower it to 325 or so.... Most rules for pork say 30 minutes per pound, so you're looking at 2.5 hours or so.

    Slow Cooker Mahogany Glazed Pork can use for your cut as well.....
    Ingredients
    How to make it
    • Coat the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
    • Combine the soy sauce, marmalade, garlic, red pepper flakes, and ketchup in a small bowl and mix until smooth. Brush all over the meat.
    • Arrange the pork butt or ribs in the cooker (if you have a round cooker, stack the ribs.)
    • Pour any extra sauce over the meat.
    • Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours.
    • Stir in the snap peas and bell pepper, cover and let stand a few minutes to warm.
    • Serve immediately.

    Pork loin should never be slow cooked. It's the fuckin filet of swine. Wrap that bitch in tinfoil, throw some delicious spices in there, some soy sauce, butter and brown sugar. Cook for around 25 -35 minutes at 375. It should be pink when it comes out. Oh. And then punch that wife of yours for not knowing this. In fact, punch yourself for not googling

    I often see Chinese people buying a very long huge hunk of pork. I always assumed that they cut it into 2 billion pieces.

    WRONG! She's a wonderful person, but she can't cook for shit :D
    It falls on me because: I like to cook and it usually taste's good (but sometimes my experiments fail)!
