I'll try to rescue this thread from banality:

Disney did a lot of work for the government during WWII, making training films and so on. Disney animator/director Ward Kimball revealed that Disney was contracted by high-level people in the military to make a documentary film about the existence of extra-terrestrials and that they would provide the necessary video evidence. Kimball was one of the most distinguished animators at Disney, he created characters like the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat and Jiminy Cricket. He also won an Academy Award as director of an animated short.

I think it's an interesting and highly-detailed story from a credible source.

A similar claim was made by the producer of the 1974 documentary sponsored by the Department of Defense "UFOs: It Has Begun", narrated by Rod Serling. In a 1988 TV interview producer Robert Emenegger and a colleague claimed they were shown footage that confirmed to them the existence of ET to be used in the documentary but in the editing stage he was informed the video would not be released to him. It's still a good documentary without the smoking gun.
