Last week it was the Obama commercial on 60 minutes. I still think he will trounce Newt, as well he should, but that is not saying much.

Yes, and rather than working with the homeowners and allowing people to either adjust their existing loans to closer reflect value, or selling at a reduced rate to new people who will repair the homes and take pride in the community they would rather just scrap them. All this does is lessen the tax base placing a greater burden on the rest of the citizens of the town or city who eventually will not be able to afford the higher taxes and will go the way of their predecessors. Eventually these types or towns will be a barren waste land. Glad the elected officials are thinking outside of the box in the best interest of those who elected them.

all the while allowing the banks that hold those mortgages at full value... force them to take the write down and reflect actual value and every bank in this country instantly goes *poof*

What do you folks think about Ron Paul? Do you think that he has something in his plan as president? I mean I assume he is unelectable as they are already calling him a Ross Perot, but I think I want to learn more about him.

Rule number 1 do not mess with the banks, rule 2 is the same, only for Wall St.
