Tier 6: Good luck with these guys
It's generally not very pretty and while some of these guys came into the league with a lot of hype and high draft selection, consider me (in general) a distinct non-believer. Many of them make a lot of money ... which speaks more to the overall state of quarterbacking in the NFL than it does to their actual on-field accomplishments. Buyer beware; they'll do just enough just enough of the time to make some think they can actually get it done, which can be a very dangerous combination for general managers.

    Ryan Tannehill
    QB / Miami Dolphins
Not sure he is going to be Adam Gase's cup of tea. He doesn't make big boy reads or throws and is very limited downfield. Still looks pretty rudimentary to me.

    "big boy reads" :giggle:

Though I must say that I don't agree w/ Luck not being in the Franchise tier. Dude carried that lousy team to the playoffs, when it had no biddness bein there. Management has fucked him w/ lousy personnel moves.

Eli Manning. Class 2. Class 1 under pressure in big games.

Few men have made more money for doing less. Oft-injured and very rarely productive.

I'd put Philip Rivers lower than class two he lights up the board until crunch time then makes dumb mistakes and fails to execute clutch plays.

Can't make big boy throws? Not only is Tannehill not a bad deep thrower, he’s one of the best deep passers in the league when you set the threshold at 20 yards.

Ryan was second in the league in deep balls to Big Ben.

Tannehill is a far more accurate passer than Ryan Fitzpatrick, who benefited greatly from having a monster receiver like Brandon Marshall who can over compensate for horribly thrown balls.

    Case in point:

This isn't a near-miss. This is a complete fucking miss.

Just because a TD is made, doesn't mean the QB is responsible. Look at the placement of this ball and the insane adjustment made by Marshall as he adjusts his route.

Tier 2: Top pros, proven winners
These are the guys who most teams in the NFL would covet if given the chance to deal for them. Though, by and large, these guys are too good to ever be available -- unless dogged by a career-threatening injury. They are regulars in the postseason and accomplished leaders.

    Philip Rivers
    QB / San Diego Chargers
He hasn't been able to get over the hump in the postseason, and is starting to run out of time with San Diego seemingly rebuilding again. But he is one of the most prolific passers of his time and an absolute gamer who wrings every bit of talent from his body.

Tannehill will be much improved this year, and that isn't a light statement for a kid who has improved steadily 3 of his 4 years in the league.

Ryan is a very underrated QB and we'll see that this year when the media starts sucking his dick. Like i've told you before, Adam Gase will receive all the credit and Ryan very little.

Dolphins offense will be boss this year, you watch.

    Russell Wilson.

I think we finally saw what he can be once he had no running game last season to lean on. Once our two best rushers were injured the OC started putting a lot more passing schemes in, with great effect. That all without a injured jimmy Graham.

This season with a healthy rusher and a healthy jimmy Graham the Hawks might not be so one dimensional with the predictable, run run run punt possessions.

Just hope fucking Ciara hasn't weakened his legs too much
