Since the last post in this forum.
I'm waiting for @Phil McKrakin to wake up and post his usual Friday night drunken ramblings.
I'm watching the Cubs while they keep the 162-0 dream alive.
I used to watch the Cubs during the late '80's.
Not sure why, but I did.
Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, Shawon Dunston and Rick Sutcliffe were all on that team.
I'm not lying; that's all off memory.
Am I right or what?
Why did I do that?
I thought this was going to be about how long it had been since the last Trump thread in the Stern Forum
It should be 8 seconds. Let get this moving!
You forgot Mark Grace and that wild thing pitcher that used to fall off the mound ever since he caught a liner in the face
I don't remember him?
That sounds like some point guard for the Cavs when Brad Dougherty was there.
Or, was that Mark Price?
Fuck-- I have to think now.
He's a nobody... Just a hall of fame first baseman.
I thought Ryne Sandberg played first base.
Who's this Mark Grace character?
The Bar is on life support.
I used to watch the fuck out of them on WGN and the Braves on WTBS.
Sandburg was 2nd base... Jesus... Call the chat line, let's shoot the shit
Damn, that was me too.
I'm just not into that shit, man.
Shit, phone is dead... Give me 20 mins
No worries... I was growing up in Madison Wisconsin in the late 80s and WGN was like the 4th network up there before Fox found its footing.
Saw a lot of Cubs games back in the day.
During the summer, there was nothing on during the middle of the day, so I used to watch WGN all the time and the Cubs were always playing.
I've seen more of Harry Carey than Vin Scully.
