Supersize Me Bro. Been done already.
That Spurlock dude did the McDonalds only diet back in the nineties...............Made him famous..........Sort of...............
Science Teacher John Cisna Manages To Lose Weight And Lower Cholesterol With 90-Day McDonalds Diet
Anybody actually watch the clip? The guy lost weight because he counted calories and exercised. Spurlock just ate like a pig and acted like he made some big point.
edit: Nemo thx
The guy described his typical MCD's day. Two Egg whites, oatmeal and 1% milk for breakfast, a salad for lunch and Burger and fries for dinner. He also took up walking 45 minutes a day.
So all healthy eating and working out until night time where he splurges a bit on a burger, etc. But he's dieting during the day on what people would call NOT McDonald's foods and he started working out. No wonder he lost weight. You could do this with any food fast place. They made it out like he was eating their regular menu stuff all day. C'mon
I watched it. He is right, it's all about choices. Add in the fact that he wasn't exercising before and it's no surprise that he lost weight and decreased his overall cholesterol numbers. Now if he wants to get a sexy physique like Howard, all he needs to do is cut down to one fish filet and some almonds.
But is he evolved ?
this movie talks about that.
Spurlock's faulty premise was that since evil McDonald's was now offering Super Sized meals, stupid Americans would eat there 3 times a day. So, he thought he'd save lives by eating like a pig for 30 days, ignoring the fact that practically nobody eats at McDonald's 3 times a day. Let alone Super Sizing everything.
Nice to see the science teacher showing that you can eat responsibly at McDonald's without adverse health effects. That Spurlock really brainwashed a lot of people.
send this video to nanny Bloomberg
Didn't watch it. Didn't care.
Michael Phelps diet...........
Breakfast: Three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise. Two cups of coffee. One five-egg omelet. One bowl of grits. Three slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar. Three chocolate-chip pancakes.
Lunch: One pound of enriched pasta. Two large ham and cheese sandwiches with mayo on white bread. Energy drinks packing 1,000 calories.
Dinner: One pound of pasta. An entire pizza. More energy drinks.
That's an insane diet.
Bottom line was the guy ate healthy food and started exercising. I would HARDLY call egg whites, oatmeal and salads, McDonalds foods.
Exercise will take care of anything. If you exercise enough.
One thing this guy failed to mention is that he had to be drinking water with at least 2 of those 3 meals. Maybe a coffee for breakfast and a soda with dinner. Drinking 2 or 3 soft drinks daily would have ruined his little experiment...even with adding in the exercise.
Yeah that's why I think this is a joke to say McDoanlds food or McDonald's diet. He stopped eating junk and started exercising. That's all. 90% of his diet was low fat milk, oatmeal, salads, water, egg whites, etc. Then a cheat of a burger, etc for dinner. When has anyone said egg whites, oatmeal, skim milk, salads, etc was McDonalds foods? McDonald's foods are...
fried chicken wraps with ranch dressing
Ya might want to watch the video around 1:49. He ate all those items and sundaes and ice cream cones, too.
But obviously, the hero of the story is exercise and a 2000 calorie diet.
