I'm fairly new here and a little shy about starting a thread, but I need to get this shit off my chest: 1. Two weeks before George Takei was given that award by GLAAD, Howard 101 replayed his first appearance, in which (of course) Howard asked about all the pussy he was getting. Over and over, George skipped around, trying really hard not to lie but giving the impression that he was straight. Howard asked him right out if he were gay, and George said no. This would be funny if THSS didn't adore George now, or if they replayed the phony phone call to George pretending to be Ricardo Montalban. THSS got such mileage out of mocking George's dog's name (La Reina Blanca), and then of course Howard gave his own dog pretty much the same damn name. It just seemed a shitty thing to do to a friend. 2. Again, much mileage out of mocking Kiefer Sutherland's saying (on The Actor's Studio) that his favorite word was "gravitas." Somebody--was it James Franco?--used the word lately, and then the next day Howard himself used the word. What I want is some acknowledgement that they thought the word was funny and pretentious before but not now. 3. Has Howard ever acknowledged that a caller gave him the title "Private Parts?" Or, going way back, the idea for Butt Bongo? 4. And, like everybody else here, I've had enough of his sucking up to people he mercilessly mocked (Larry King)--he didn't even call out Larry King when Larry said he was not the kind of guy who pretends to know famous people--Sandy Koufax, anyone? That is all.
