I have to deal with family easter Sunday, and naturally I want to be plastered. What's a good gin to get?

    TIA

You want quality or quantity? Mixing with tonic?

Either way, Bombay Sapphire is fantastic and reasonable. If you're just looking to drift into oblivion, buy Gordon's and lots of limes.

You won't get any credit for originality, but Tanqueray is a safe gin to go with.

    Gin is for college kids.

    Get Tito's vodka.

    You're welcome in advance.

Ahh gin, I was a Fleischmann's or Gilbey's man personally but that is the bottom shelf/rotgut/alcoholic selection. Like the folks said Bombay or Tanqueray is hard to beat. Seagrams and New Amsterdam is pretty good mid level stuff.

Gin is pretty much grain alcohol with juniper berries.
The only real difference between brands is how much they can hook you for and a plain or fancy bottle

That's what my Dad used say about Vodkas-
    It's water and advertising.
