FALL RIVER, Mass. – A jury found Aaron Hernandez guilty of murder in the first degree for the 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd, ending forever his life of NFL fame and fortune.

A Bristol County jury of seven women and five men deliberated for 36 hours over seven days before reaching a unanimous verdict on the former New England Patriots star. They said the murder rose to first degree due to Hernandez acting with extreme atrocity or cruelty. The conviction carries a sentence of automatic life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Hernandez, 25, had to sit down when the verdict was read. Lloyd's family, who during the trial made a daily pilgrimage to this old mill town 50 miles south of Boston, wept and embraced as the verdict was read. Shayanna Jenkins, Hernandez's fiancée, wept uncontrollably after the verdict was handed down.

What a waste. He's the Ryan Lever of the NFL- a waste of skin.

Like this is a big surprise... however it took jurors several days for the final decision...

Aaron Hernandez has just been found guilty of 1st degree murder in the killing of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd ... and now faces life in prison without parole.

Several people inside the courtroom began crying as the verdict was read ... including Aaron's fiancee and mother.

As the verdict was read, Hernandez was shaking his head in disbelief. At one point, Hernandez turned to his fiancee and mouthed the words, "Be strong."

25-year-old Hernandez -- a former superstar tight end for the New England Patriots -- killed Lloyd on June 17th, 2013.

Aaron was also found guilty of illegal gun possession and illegal ammunition possession.

After sentencing in the Lloyd case, Hernandez will still stand trial in the shooting deaths of two people in Boston in 2012. That trial is scheduled to begin in May.

He should have hired Billacheat as a lawyer... he would have found a way to deflate the states case against him

Only one team he's gonna play for. He won't be a tight end any more when they are done.

That's what I was thinking when the jury was taking so long to reach a verdict. Maybe a Pats fan had gotten through like in Michael Jackson's trial when multiple lunatic fans conned the lawyers and got seated on the jury.

The NFL grabs all the rookies who are drafted for mandatory meetings... they explain the pressure they will face with their new found money and fame...

They actually hire actors and role play... the gold digger, the "investors", the "old friends from the hood".

this dumb fuck had the world by they balls.. should be relaxing in hawaii after another superbowl win... now he will die in prison, eating shitty food, and living in a box.

    fuck him.

Is there a prison gang draft? Maybe Mel Kiper could talk to the GMs of the Aryan Brotherhood, the United Blood Nation and Nuestra Familia to see whether Hernandez is projected to go in the first round.
