both good movies
maybe they were
maybe they weren't
I like Carolla and he has a great grasp of the language, but he has no patience for certain types of art.
While I agree that "Boyhood" was way overrated -- I hated that gawky kid by the end and thought the sister was more compelling -- "Napoleon Dynamite" is one of my top 3 comedy classics. But a lot of people don't get that movie at all.
It's unfortunate that the kid didn't age any cuter. By the end, he looked like Anakin Skywalker's retarded brother. Good flick though.
He hates Little Miss Sunshine too, to the point where he constantly raves about it being a colossal piece of shit. I thought that movie too was actually pretty good.
You're dead on about Carolla being unable to appreciate certain types of art/film/food.
I forgot about that. Yeah I liked that movie too.
hated napolean the first time i saw it. but i did watch in on a laptop while being on a plane. grew one me
lets not get carried away
Napoleon Dynamite is a great movie
Carolla is the guy who calls Bob Dylan a talentless hack AND insists that John Hiatt is a better version of Bob Dylan. Not just an offhand remark, he has been saying this for years.
Dylan is an overrated "artist". So is Lou reed. That I agree with him on.
