Oh, I thought he was talking about Howard.
What is so interesting about interviewing Oprah?
Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla created "The Man Show" chiefly to bash and make fun of Oprah. The first episode was titled "Oprah-tization."
Kimmel carried on his Oprah mocking to his talk show, where he ridiculed her for years.
So, yeah, it's a big deal that she's coming on his show.
It's an even bigger deal that Rosie and Ellen making up with Howard.
Thanks for explaining that!!
At least Jimmy has a sense of humor about it. Howard would never allow such a thing.
Pat Cooper called out Howard for the same shit and now he is blacklisted.
Also Jimmy, despite mocking Oprah in the past, akways played the nice guy willing to get along with everybody. Also alot of his mocking of Oprah wasn't necessarily against her personally, but about the manic worship and fandom the revolved around her.
I had no idea he's had so much nips and tucks on his face. He looks feminine now and that's what happens when you fuck around too much when you're a guy. Plus the ton of make up doesn't help either.
I bet Kimmel is not affected like Howard is. He can host A list parties, but he still hangs out with regular people and family. Howard is a lost cause. He's the nerd who never fit in and now the cool kids like him so he forgot who he was and how he felt before.
Agree that Kimmel gets some points for being self-deprecating about this, but it's still an atrocity. When the vile beast's OWN network is sinking, that's when you torpedo the thing rather than toss her a lifeline. This might be worse than when Letterman made nice with her.
It's a perfect description of how Kimmel's personal life is the polar opposite of Howard's.
You always hear stories about Kimmel cracking jokes on his staff and friends in his personal life. He actually is known to invite friends over for Sunday football games and cooks for them too. The guy oozes fun and come off as a very real laid-back person.
It might be unfair to say Stern isn't or can't be like that, but you rarely hear stories of him acting as a regular likeable guy in his personal life. And it doesn't help that in recent years he comes off as bitter selfish ass on his show. Or has it become easier for us to see the real Howchie, perhaps?
Howard is not a "regular guy" , you have to be a guy first.
He is an old jew broad
Was that Adam's newswoman Alison sitting on his right?
The two really can't be paralleled. Jimmy's ribbing was always in fun. Letterman made fun of her in a similar way, and Oprah came on his show. Howard, on the other hand, criticized with contempt. He wasn't joking around about Ellen. He was slamming her personally. One thing those Kimmel clips show is that Jimmy is the best thing on late night. His Oscar night shows have been pretty good. He always gets a ton of stars to take part in a sketch that usually turns out to be pretty good. The clips he does remind me of the old Channel 9 shows, but they're well produced. There's no reason Howie can't do parodies anymore other than the fact that he doesn't give a shit. Songs about Robin don't count.
Shit, there goes my argument.
The bigger atrocity is Carolla is still on autopilot much like our favorite jew broad. I remember back in the 90s during Loveline it was fresh shit every night, now he's got "lines" like Howard. "Don't even know you anymore man" is his "stare at the walls."
Carolla is a harrrible actor.
No. But I do love how the black guy next to Adam reacts.
