    I bought Trials of Life years ago. It was horrifying. I never watched any more after seeing that. They do it to stun them so they can kill and eat them.

    That seal is all but dead. ... orcas are famous for toying with its prey....usually it's to teach younger orca how to hunt and kill

    That was my other wonder, you think that thing was injured before the toss or did that whale literally scoop up a perfectly healthy, swift swimming seal and launch it? Either way it is amazing.

    Kiler whales are assholes... they can't just eat the animal like a shark does, they play with it first like cats... which are also assholes...

    from what i have seen and read. ... Orca will chase a smaller faster animal until it literally wears out ..

    they do it with Dolphins, Seals, and hopefully soon Michael Phelps
