Lowers the bar for a particular group...Thus, particular group evolves into an under-achieving class, comfortably
-institutionalized racism and discrimination against whites (and asians) (this is most glaring problem)
-insulting to minorities by telling them they're too inferior to compete with mighty whitey (& brazen asians)
-changed merit-based system to race-based system, almost a caste system.
-america is supposed to be equal opportunity and the best and hardest working succeed; this is the opposite

It does seem like government could use some Al-Anon meetings and learn about enabling and co-dependency.
