My best friend lost her grandfather this year at the age of 91..

Dude was in great shape both physically and mentally up until he hit 90

then the wheels came off the wagon quickly...

I think that after a certain age the body just gets is ass kicked by simple infections

if you think about it ever second that we are alive micro organisms are pretty much trying to eat us and the second the body can no longer fight them we are fucked

I used to think that Howard would be devastated by the loss of his father. Now I believe that Howard is a soulless human who only cares about marbles. RIP old man Stern...you told him not to be a stupid moron...he just didn't listen.

just in time for retirement. The parents will kick it and then he and his trophy horse can gallop from the Hamptons to Palm Beach and into the sunset.

and having a son who can pay for all your medical bills doesn't hurt..

:hhh: If that's the case, I would just follow the advice below. Sex, drugs, and rock n roll. :D

    Exactly...we are doomed anyway.

When my dad got throat cancer from smoking, I asked his Dr. to prescribe something to help him quit. My dad looked at me and with a straight face said, "WHY!"

I was taken aback at first, but agreed that he was right.

I quit smoking about a month before September 11th and I remember looking up at the sky and cursing God with "if I quit smoking and this is Arma-fucking-geddon, so help me GOD, I'm gonna tear off my right arm and smoke it!" :jj:

Asking "What percentage of the population will make it to 91?" isn't the same as asking "What percentage of 90-year-olds live another 365 days?"

From what we know, he's not infirm and still lives independently. My money's on Ben to live a good while longer.
