I never read "Civil War". But I remember seeing like 10 different graphic novel titles in library. Could be a hell of a series.

much like all the other marvel "events", it ends with a whimper. still a cool read, you could probably find it on piratebay.

I would DL the whole saga as a whole file and use PDfile to read it or whatever reading device you use. It's a sprawling crossover saga that dips into every Marvel book. Reading just the main 7 issue mini series just doesn't remotely cut it.

For instance, if you just read the main 7 CW mini series you'd miss maybe my favorite issue of Cap going at it with a Stark suited Spider-man (in a Spider-man book). Spidey sold out to Stark, and Cap was pissed Parker left his whole family vulnerable to Spider-man's rogues who now know his identity.

The fight had no clear conclusion because Cap fled off to help his in trouble teammates vs Iron Man's massive crew, but damn it was a good fight and read. It seemed the tipping point where Spider-man knew he chose the wrong side with Stark.

A lot more than ten. I think it's closer to 30. I have the whole set and almost everybody except the Ghost Rider (who was fighting his way out of hell) and the Hulk (who was on another planet) from the Marvel universe is involved in it.

It makes me glad to see that there are lots of comic readers out there that are not just kids.
Civil war was a great story line but even though the marvel movies have been fantastic so far I just don't know if they can pull it off in one movie. I'll wait to pass judgment until I see cap 3 I guess. Thanks X for all the AOU stuff this last week.

I'm currently re-screening both "Winter Soldier" and "Days of Future Past". I liked them both. It'll be asking too much to expect that level of quality in all the films, but it's good to know that it CAN be done.

BTW, do you ever watch Comic Book 19? I think she's outstanding. Especially since the format change bought about by their conflict w Google. They grew up and the show is better for it.

I'm betting it's some old school workout Steve is foisting on Stark. This so Tony doesn't get soft relying on his armor and tech. In the comics Cap always trained and chided Stark about not being able to handle himself without armor or at least be prepared to if it comes up that his armor fails him.
