Howard keeps implying that the AGT auditions are at the MSG arena which seats 19,000 but in actuality they are at the Theater at MSG which seats 2-5000 and is often used for business meetings and graduations. The AGT website also goes for the same exaggeration. Not until you scroll down to "Studio Information" is the real location revealed.

The Theater at Madison Square Garden, which is located inside Madison Square Garden seats between 2,000 and 5,600 for concerts and can also be used for meetings, stage shows, and graduation ceremonies. It was the home of the NFL Draft until 2005, when it moved to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center after MSG management opposed a new stadium for the New York Jets. It also hosted the NBA Draft from 2001 to 2010. The theater also occasionally hosts boxing matches on nights when the main arena is unavailable. The fall 1999 Jeopardy! Teen Tournament as well as a Celebrity Jeopardy!competition were held at the theater. In 2004, it was the venue of the Survivor: All-Stars finale. No seat is more than 177 feet (54 m) from the 30' × 64' stage. The theatre has a relatively low 20-foot (6.1 m) ceiling at stage level[SUP][1][/SUP] and all of its seating except for boxes on the two side walls is on one level slanted back from the stage. There is an 8,000-square-foot (740 m[SUP]2[/SUP]) lobby at the theater.
When the Garden opened in 1968, the theater was known as the Felt Forum, in honor of then-president Irving Felt. In the early 1990s, at the behest of then-owner Paramount Communications, the theater was renamed the Paramount after the Paramount Theatre in Times Square had been converted to an office tower. The theater received its next name, The Theater at Madison Square Garden, in the mid-90s, afterViacom bought Paramount and sold the MSG properties. In 2007, the theater was renamed the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden, due to a naming rights deal with Washington Mutual (now JPMorgan Chase). After Washington Mutual's failure in 2009, the name reverted to The Theater at Madison Square Garden.[SUP][2

I went to an AGT taping here in St. Louis when Howard first came on.

-It was brutally boring (I'm not a fan of the show, just went to see Howard). We left during intermission.
    - People weren't all that excited about it, once the show went past the first hour.
-The line to get in, even if you have a ticket, started to form hours before people were let in.
-Howard would say he would get the loudest applause. However, his applause couldn't compare to Howie's.

I still can't believe the depths to which Wig has sunk, to do a second-rate gong show....

At least we're sure to have more screenshots of his ridiculous mug and faggy dance moves.:thumbup2:

700 people in the actual arena wouldn't have looked very good on tv. :jj:

    It's the old Felt Forum.

This is like saying you went to harvard because you one day stopped by for a tour.

Funny thing, two of Howard's very talented friends couldn't get to audition. I guess the comedian issue a few years ago didn't have anything to do with that. It is because they have such great talent. Yup sure.

Not sure. I grew up in central Illinois and didn't have it then.

I knew Howard from when he was on E, stuff I listened to on the Internet, and YouTubing his old stuff.

According to marksfriggin he was on 2 different stations-WXTM then later KPNT until he left free radio. No idea what kind of ratings the Wig had there.
