    AGT
    with Cowell keeps its steady pace in ratings despite being bumped by the DNC. The show is slightly down in viewers from last years first live show, but up in ratings overall. The final ratings have always gone up for AGT, so those numbers should be different later today. The show will be on hiatus in a few weeks due to the Olympics, but is still performing well despite not having an over-paid wigged clown calling himself "America's Judge". As Entertainment Weekly proclaimed him to be, Stern will always be known a the "Loser of the summer".

    Howard is rooting for the show to fail.....that's his style. With radio, he is on the mark, but this was a show that declined with his presence.

    AGT was one of the biggest mis-steps in Howard's career.

    Howard cult members can argue that NBC wanted to keep Howard and he decided to quit, but NBC loved him. The problem is that it isn't as good of a defense for Howard as they think. That argument just goes to show how stupid the NBC executives are. I mean it cost them significantly more to have Howard as a judge, but the ratings were worse with him than without him.
