gotta wonder what it dropped down to @ 9...0.0?
On NBC,America’s Got Talentearned a 2.3, down 4 percent from last week's 2.4 adults 18-49 rating
...this seems like several weeks in a row when agt "is down" ...again. the stern effect, "im happening robin"
it's going to go back up when they add all of the old folks homes and the people watching on their apple watches robin....Robin?
"Who watches basketball robin? Just a bunch of the coloreds. AGT attracts the high income people. Robin, are you there?"
Looks like "America's Got Nothing" at this point.
The steady decline for AGT continues:
Historic breakdown for the episode 3 of AGT:
2008 (Hoff, Morgan, Osbourne) 3.2 rating, 11.98 million viewers
2009 (Hoff, Morgan, Osbourne) 3.7 rating, 12.91 million viewers
2010 (Mandel, Morgan, Osbourne) 3.7 rating, 13.09 million viewers
2011 (Mandel, Morgan, Osbourne) 3.7 rating, 12.64 million viewers
2012 (Mandel, Osbourne, Stern) 3.2 rating, 9.66 million viewers
2013 (Mandel, Heidi, Mel B, Stern) 3.0 rating, 11.75 million viewers
2014 (Mandel, Heidi, Mel B, Stern) 2.6 rating, 11.54 million viewers
2015 (Mandel, Heidi, Mel B, Stern) 2.3 rating, 10.34 million viewers
Season 10 of AGT continues to be the lowest rated in history, as Stern and crew deliver the lowest rated Episode 3 in AGT history. Last night, it was completely dominated by the NBA Finals, and although it didn't go below a 2.0, it lost to the Jimmy Kimmel pregame show, and was completely destroyed by the game itself...which drew a 5.8 rating for the night. More bad news for AGT is that the show continues its trend downward:
Episode 1 - 2.6 rating, 11.09 million viewers
Episode 2 - 2.4 rating, 10.84 million viewers
Episode 3 - 2.3 rating, 10.34 million viewers
Every week, the ratings have dropped this season as Stern is failing to gain any new viewers and bringing the show to historic lows. Stern better hope the NBA Finals ends soon...Game 6 of the Finals will be Tuesday night in Cleveland. Congratulations to Howard Stern.....the "iron anchor" in a sinking ship. No worries Stern....the cavalry is on the way....those celebrity judges will be coming soon to save your ass....maybe. I wonder what Simon is thinking this morning.....another drop in ratings this week. "Finger pointing" has to be starting at this point...and there is only one person to "point a finger" at....and that is the "judge" with the largest paycheck, the "judge" that made the show move to NYC, the "judge" that "made claims" to be an A-List celebrity, the "judge" that "claimed" to have 20 million listeners, the "judge" that was going to be "America's Judge", the "judge" that has shown how untalented and unfunny he truly is....that "judge" is none other than Howard Stern.
Robin, they aren't counting households that save the show for their neighbors to watch. This rating system is unfair....not like it was when I was number 1 in the market back in the terrestrial radio days. Right Robin? Robin?
I don't think anyone watching AGT quickly switched the channel to the game. They just dozed off dreaming about yelling at kids to get off their lawn
‘AMERICA’S GOT TALENT’ RETAINS 96% OF LAST WEEK’S RATING – THE #1 NON-SPORTS RESULT OF THAT WEEK ON THE BIG 4 – DESPITE LAST NIGHT’S NBA COMPETITION
Haha! Talk about a spin!!
America's judge is making it harder to the NBC PR team to spin the ratings each week. They're having to reach by saying that as long as you don't count programs with higher ratings, AGT was #1 for the night - what a win!
The release forgot to mention that last week's show was the lowest rated second episode ever, so getting an even worse rating last night (i.e. "retaining 96% of last week's audience") isn't setting the world on fire.
Jimmy Kimmel live is not sports programming and AGT has had at least one matchup with an NBA final each year it was on including all those 3.7's before the Stern Effect took over.
American Ninja Warrior had a 2.1 on Monday on their current trajectory they should be tied next week.
Still to high, but trending in the right direction!!
Drives me nuts how AGT gets good ratings while Hannibal, also an NBC show, gets shitty ratings. Just kills me because AGT blows & Hannibal is one of, if not THE best, shows on TV.
